Summer and Iris are mirror twins, who are impossible to tell apart; but at the same time are utterly dissimilar in every way.
Summer, the first born, is the ‘perfect’ twin, whose life is so perfect in every way - she is blessed with good fortune at every turn.
Iris, on the other hand, seems to be the dysfunctional twin, the insecure sister who lives in her sister’s shadow; quietly coveting all that her sister has.
Summer suddenly calls her sister out of the blue and begs her to come and help sail Bathsheba (the yacht that her husband and her have purchased from the twins’ late father’s estate) out of Thailand and all the way to the Seychelles. Iris adores Bathsheba and would dearly love to own it for herself.
Naturally a chance to sail in her beloved Bathsheba has Iris dashing to Thailand in an instant. But things don’t go as she imagines they will and Iris soon finds herself in the position to get everything that she ever wanted…

I enjoyed this book, but I can’t decide whether there are too many twists in it, or not. There are points in the story where the author could’ve taken a different path, and the book would still have been enjoyable. I honestly don’t know if the final chapters are the right ending for me or not…but to each their own - others will love it, some might dislike the ending completely. Also, there are some bits throughout the book that feel a bit over the top and unrealistic - you kind of just have to accept these. It doesn’t detract from the fact that this is enjoyable summer reading, although I think it could've been so much better.
