I was really looking forward to reading this book and I was definitely not disappointed. From the start, right through to the very end it was really exciting and kept me really engaged wanting to keep reading on. It was lovely to read about the sailing on the yacht and the author definitely knew how to explain sailing things in simple enough language to help you understand but without detracting from all the fast paced action and plot.
I must admit I wasn't completely keen on some of the graphic descriptions at first as I felt they were a bit too detailed and not really serving much purpose but after reading the whole book I can see how they now fitted in and they did work, despite my earlier reservations about them.
The way the book is broken up into different parts as well worked really well and I liked reading from the different points of view.
