One of the freakiest books ever heard/read. Twins, one lost at sea and the other having to make a tough decision, the story was a roller-coaster ride on the ship and land, roiling in the stormy seas to the crocodile infested river, all leading to a banging finish!!
Each page had me biting my lip in anticipation of how a lone twin could now pull it off. Many things were obvious from the very beginning, but no matter. I was on the ship with a known destination and an unknown journey.
The ending was slightly rushed where all the plot strings were not well tied in a pretty bow. But it could be inferred that a woman who knew how to manage extenuating circumstances would know what to do next.
The narrator was clear with distinctive voices for all characters. I liked that emotions could be expressed on the tone, building up my excitement.
