Following Iris and Summers journey of selflessness and selfishness, a tragedy occurs at sea.One twin is about to get the life they have always dreamed of.

Parts of this story are extremely farfetched, and I struggled to like Iris's character. However, the further into the book we get, the more gripping the story becomes.

I also found this storyline quite predictable, it's easy to fall into the same trap when writing about twins. I did enjoy the fact the story hooks you in immediately, and I think it is fairly steady paced, so I didn't feel like I wanted to put it down. I enjoyed reading on to see if my suspicions were correct too.
I think the ending worked very well, and it also clarifies a lot of things, making the reader understand why some feelings were provoked earlier on in the book.

Overall I did enjoy the book, and it is a great and clever debut novel if you like a simple thriller.
