Wow! What a book! This book took me totally by surprise!
Identical twins Iris and Summer were identical on the outside but different on the inside. Summer is the golden girl, whilst Iris is the insecure twin. When their father dies, the conditions of the will was a shock to the whole family. The family being a complicated web of wives, stepmothers, brothers, uncles and children! The inheritance can only be claimed in one way - what would it take to get their hands on it?
The story was a little unbelievable at times but not so much that you couldn’t overlook it and still enjoy the suspense the author creates. I can’t say that I liked the characters that were portrayed but I think this is the intention and the way the story works best. I certainly felt sorry for some of them at times but I didn’t like them.
I think it is best to go into this story blind as it keeps the suspense heightened as you read so I haven’t included too much information.
