Promises to be dark and menacing - right up my street!
I thought that a sense of intrigue was established within the first couple of pages but, by the end of Chapter 5, intrigue and mystery had transformed into a palpable and disturbing feeling of threat and menace. The switches between past and present very effectively hinted at something very dark in Amb's past.
'The Girls Are All So Nice Here’ ... as soon as l saw this title I knew that this would be a story with hidden depths because, as every girl/woman knows, some female friendships are toxic and sometimes it's the 'nicest' of girls who can be the most toxic and manipulative! I really enjoy stories which explore these dynamics and so I'd love to read and review this dark psychological thriller.
