The Girls Are All So Nice Here (first look) was wonderful to read! My first gripping experience in this novel is when the line "She knows I deleted the emails. I shouldn’t be surprised; she had a way of knowing everything." It automatically draws the reader in and makes us ask SO many questions that, still at the current time, are unanswered.
I really like how after we hear about this character (Flora) and start asking these questions we flip back in time and finally get to meet her. Flora seems like the best friend every girl wants in life however we infer that something is going to happen between these two friends and perhaps Ambrosia isn’t what she seems. The writing style is quite wordy however I believe it wasn’t difficult to follow and the language didn’t completely throw you off the plot. It’s an interesting read particularly because this isn’t my favoured genre, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found it as gripping as I did.
