I was immediately drawn to this book and was hooked by the first page of the preview. This book throws you into the action immediately and I cannot wait to read more works by this author. The book is reminiscent of high school/young adult thrillers yet has a gripping edge, is unpredictable and will leave you hooked almost immediately. I cannot wait to read this book this summer and will definitely be recommending to all of my friends.
This book reminds me a lot of E. Lockhart, so if you enjoyed We Were Liars or Genuine Fraud (this one especially shares a similar vibe, a gripping mystery with a protagonist who guards their secrets like their life depends on it), I definitely think that you'll fall in love with this book. It carries the same sense of slow burn mystery as the plot progresses and secrets get revealed.
