Ambrosia Turner, nee Wellington is happily married when an invitation to her university ten year reunion arrives. Returning to Wesleyan is the last thing she wants to do, there are deep dark memories from her time there that she definitely does not want to resurface. But...when another message arrives, simply saying, 'You need to come. We need to talk about what we did that night,' Amb knows she has no choice.

Told in alternate current day and flashbacks to her university days the story cleverly unfolds (in a pretty shocking and decadent manner) as it focuses on Amb and her intoxicating friendship with the commanding and charismatic Sloane 'Sully' Sullivan; the girl everyone wants to be like - and be liked by.

I loved, loved, loved this book. It was dark, unsettling and incredibly captivating. I was almost bewitched by Sully too, oh what a character and a half she was, a real piece of work. This book is more than a thriller, it's a bewitching account of the intensity of female friendship and revenge. And an absolute gobsmacker of an ending!
