I was absolutely addicted to this book from the get go, the idea of going to a college reunion with everyone from your past is intriguing and terrifying, but especially if you’re harbouring a secret from that day. The way the book weaves between the past and the present was brilliant, painting a picture of the main girls in the story where you’re drawn to them but don’t necessarily know if you like them or not. I’m pretty sure most girls around that age have been through some of the things that happen in this book and I feel like it would be so beneficial to make this a reading text in secondary schools to show the damage that bullying and picking at someone can do. I was the girl who got picked on and I nearly ended up with the same tragedy, but luckily I got through it and Laurie Elizabeth Flynn captures this experience so wonderfully. She also captures the retribution that so many of us probably still dream of sometimes if we were to go back! Brilliant book, fast paced and well written - definitely recommend!
