I was instantly drawn in by the cover of the book, which is good because I would have been drawn to this book if I'd seen it in a bookstore. The contents that followed were just as intriguing and i honestly couldnt stop reading . I really enjoyed that the story kept switching from past to present as this really helped to add character development. The character development in the book was superb and by the end i really felt like i was part of the story because i knew the characters in such great detail. My only complaint on the field of character development is i wish that perhaps the male characters were developed further because i felt that as a reader, they just werent as interesting and were in the background (which possibly could be the intention), however, the female characters were extremely well developed.

The story flips between a married woman trying to forget her college experience, and the same woman whilst in college. The book is an excellent and clever thriller that had me hooked at every turning page, eager to read on. The plot is dark and twisted but i absolutely loved it. The writing style was easy to follow and satisfying to read as the writing flowed so well. Following this, I would love to read more from the author because i enjoyed the book so much.

The book was a slow burner but the short chapters and engaging style of writing didnt leave me feeling frustrated, which i really liked.
