Once I started reading this book I had to find out what happens.
Pros:
1) All the characters were interesting in their own right.
2) The build up throughout the book was great and slow burn, but not frustrating.
3) The Author has a really good engaging style of writing which made this story so easy to read.
4) The chapters were relatively short which always makes for an easy reading experience for me.
Cons:
1) Elements of this book sadly have truth to them i.e. the need to fit in, the need to impress others & feeling jealous of others. However I would have expected these behaviours from younger students at school - not University. I found this a bit odd.
2) Some parts of the story did become repetitive after a while.
3) Some backstory explaining why the main characters behaved the way they did would have been a good addition to the story.
4) After such a good build up of the story, the ending was a let down. Unfortunately explaining why this was would reveal spoilers.
