To be honest I had fully expected this to live up to the hype around this book. It was neither terrible nor amazing but just simply meh.
I was mildly interested in the storyline throughout after an amazing start with the promise of it getting better. But it did not. It just fell really short for me.
I worked out what was going to happen and then felt like a bit of a slog whilst I waited for them to tell me that I was right.
By the end, I was just bored.
There was no character progression and in the end just felt like there was no point in the story. The character ended up the exact same as those that they hated. (This will make more sense when you read it, should you decide to ;) ) It just felt like even the author had given up at that point as well.
All in all I would neither recommend or not recommend reading this. If it intrigues you give it a go but only if you're prepared to stick it out.
