This book transported me back to my last couple of years at school and then at college, and the relationships forged during these formative years. This was a fast paced and exciting book well written and with a compelling and somewhat dark storyline, which kept my interest throughout. As I worked my way greedily through the book, I felt all of the emotions Amb did and eagerly experienced. the anticipation of the reunion. Who hasn’t felt that anticipation and unease in similar situations, even after college in ordinary situations, it was easy to put yourself into Amb’s sometimes uncomfortable shoes. The snobbery of some of the extremely privileged girls was blatant, cleverly written to portray those individuals who clearly know no different. I devoured this book fairly quickly once I had started it, and was a little disappointed to see it end. Recommended read, great transition by the author from YA to adult books.
