Gripping read from the get go!
This is a modern day read that has lots of different ways to keep you hooked on every word that is said in the book. Straight away it is clear that the main character Amb has a lot of secrets that she is not willing to spill straight away, this in turn keeps you wanting to read more and more about what you think might be happening. Amb is a very relatable character, to me especially because I feel that I can relate to her and what she is going through in the NOW and in the THEN as what she is feeling with her husband is how I feel sometimes with my own relationship.
The writing style of the book is very pleasing, and easily readable to any reader. It words flow together smoothly, and makes it a pleasing read. The author is able to get you hooked on the end of every chapter wanting you to keep reading, and not put the book down. I can see this being a one sit reader.
