i liked it a lot, it was very intriguing

this book isn’t set in school so the story felt more mature than a typical high school dramatised book. even though it switches from the past to present, the storyline is easy to follow and not confusing at all. additionally, the writing style is very easy to follow and the first few pages piqued my interest wholly. it’s suspenseful and interesting and immediately draws you in. i know i was!
what is really likeable about the book is the main character and the way that she talks; the novel is eerily similar to a diary and felt very personal like a best friend telling you a story. reading it felt like watching a tv show in my head and i didn’t want to put it down! the story is exciting and new, mysterious and a joy to read, i loved it so much!
