I was so pleased to receive a copy of this book and picked it up straight away. The premise had me hoping for a fast paced book, with mean girl vibes, and I was not disappointed.
While the main storyline is set in high school, the plot did not seem childish, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The quick pace to the book, coupled with a writing style that I loved, made this a book that I couldn't put down.
The characters, while not being that likeable, were an accurate representation of how girls can be during high school. I enjoyed this with the juxtaposition of the title of the girls seeming nice, which again can be representative of those mean girls that often seem nice on the outside.
This book is perfect for lovers of dark academia and thrillers, looking for something different with a mean girls vibe. I hope to read more from this author in the near future.
