Ambrosia is an interesting character right off the bat because we learn she has a past with a mysterious girl from college and the story takes you in immediately with the start of emails from her old college. I really enjoyed the writing style it was humorous and down to earth. I enjoyed the change in chapters from past and present and we as readers wonder what happened to Ambrosia and immediately know she is not happy in her marriage to Adrian. The writing style comes off as playful but there are enough hints in the story to keep you grounded. What happened that night between the two friends? Were they more than friends? Were they lovers or partners in crime? How will meeting with her past effect Ambrosia’s marriage? It must be something bad if she can’t even tell her best friend Billie or her husband details. I’m interested to see were the story will go. It doesn’t seem like the typical college drama.
