Sounds like a complex psychological thriller

The first few chapters really draw you in.

I was intrigued by Ambrosia and why she wouldn't want to attend her reunion. Chapter 2 gives us a glimpse of the dynamics of the friends she makes at college. This chapter also gives us an indication of how nice the girls are, but with a disquieting underlying note to the relationships which are highlighted between the girls that have a just met at college.

One can presume that there is a class distinction between Ambrosia and her new friends, and this may be an aspect to consider when reading the rest of the book? Just a thought.

They do seem like nice girls, but are they really, and why would Amb want to avoid the reunion, and consistently delete the email invitation and the follow up reminder emails that she receives in chapters 1 and 3.

There is a brief description of Amb's husband, and does he have a deeper role to play? I'd be interested in finding out.
