The girls are all so nice here: but are they! The cover of this depicts perfectly for me the style in which this book is set. When Amber is invited back to a school reunion with she has to open the closet back to events which she has tried to forget. Set back and forth between the present day as a married woman, and her time at college we learn more about her character and that of her friends. They were typical students getting drunk and going to parties but then something happens and we wait to discover what and how! The characters are all out to protect themselves and stop the truth from being revealed. This is a brilliant thriller with twists, and one in which I enjoyed being kept guessing. I didn’t like the characters but, then it would have been hard to! This is a twisted, and dark story, with scary and compulsive behaviour, and a very good read!
