The cover is a beautiful design of clementine done in gold with her marking of a clementine flower.the flower appears to be on fire as smoke is rising from it while adding a different appearance in the cover. The story is a tale of two sisters who are dustbloods who are sent to a welcome house and are maids until like they turn sixteen and their marking transforms.
