This first impression has quite a bleak setting, in a brothel where young girls are kept as slaves until they reach sixteen, when they become prostitutes (sundown girls). The girls are branded with floral neck tattoos which start as seedlings and blossom as they grow. I think the story has potential, but might be quite bleak at times. I like the cover, I think it is simple yet stunning.
