As I was first reading, The Hand maid's Tale sprung to mind (which I absolutely love), but set in the Wild West era.
Further on, the author introduces a small bit of this wild west dystopian world, and although a small snippet of information, it was enough to capture my attention and want to be immersed into this book. I want to find out more about these "Good luck, Sundown and Daybreak girls," I want to find out more about this ruthless world they live in, and absolutely I want to know what happened to the man Clem bashed over the head.
