Every inch of this universe that the titular Good Luck Girls inhabit is exquisitely crafted and perfectly detailed. It reminded me of Joss Whedon's Firefly, specifically the character of Inara, and I really enjoyed the science fiction wild West influences. The main characters were interesting and I am eager to find out more about this world that they inhabit, as the world building in this novel stands out as some of the best I've read recently.
