The prologue started things off quite promisingly but something just feels missing in this for me. The world building is pretty good but it still feels a little flimsy and fragile, much like the Good Luck Girls themselves. I struggled to become immersed in this fictional world and really get to grips with the predicament Clem, and by extension Aster, have got themselves in.
