The cover for this book is beautiful. Having read the blurb I wasn't sure if it was for me but I downloaded and read the extract anyway.
The blurb didn't prepare me at all for what the prologue of the book would be about. It was quite a harrowing start to the book, but knowing it was a prologue, I was fascinated to know how we got to that stage.
