At first, I absolutely loved the idea of this book, which seemed to be a brilliant mix of slavery and female subservience - sort of like a cross between My Name's Not Friday and The Handmaid's Tale. However, now I feel as if it might be too upsetting for me, but I would still recommend it to others (despite having only read the First Impression).
