Firstly, I wouldn't have realised that this was a fantasy book based on the front cover, which does make it look like a normal young adult romance novel. Furthermore, I am intrigued by the fact it states fans of Laini Taylor would love this and I have just finished reading daugther of smoke and bone and absolutely loved it. The First looks introduces the prologue and first two chapter which show the main character Clementine growing up in a house were when she comes of age she is given away to men. I'm intrigued to read more
