Clementine accidentally kills a man leading to her sister suggesting they leave and escape to a safer life but first they need their marks removed first. They begin a quest with friends to escape but it's a dangerous journey.
Wow what a powerful read. This was a really interesting story. I loved the premise of the story and the epic journey across the lands. The ending was perfect for the story and left me wanting more of the girls especially Aster. The story was well written and the writing was so descriptive. I would like to know more about the different types of people in the world though.
The girls were all so interesting and each one brought something to the story. I think my favourite was Mallow. A fascinating read.
