This book felt new and radical, becoming more so as you read on. The cover was what intrigued me to start with, I'm not going to lie, and I felt that once I began the book this was justified. It is a well-rounded representation.
In the era of 'Girl Power' this feels current yet not worn out and I will be reading it again soon I'm sure. Without giving too much away, the characters and their relationships with each other are beautifully crafted and the style of writing suits the tone well. My only criticism would be that whilst it started out unique it fell into the somewhat predictable category towards the end.
Overall, I loved it and would urge young women everywhere to read. I hope to see more from the author soon!
