This story is a fascinating combination of historical fiction, fantasy, romance and dystopia and the result was weirdly wonderful.

Aster is the leader of the group who is fiercely protective of her sister, Clementine. Along with Violet, Tansy and Mallow they unintentionally wind up on a big adventure, making friends along the way. With ghosts, guns and bank robberies, there was nothing lacking from this book.
I found this book completely unputdownable. From the first few pages I was hooked.
