The 'Good luck girls' by Charlotte Nicole Davis is a book which intrigued me from the very beginning. It is a story about girls who are children who are sold to a welcome house as their families can't look after them. These children are branded with a cursed marking and are entered into a life they would never have chosen for themselves.
The title of the book 'good luck girls' suggests that these girls are the lucky ones and the ones that live a good life, they live in a relative comfy place, have good food to eat and protection from the dangerous areas outside of where they live. However not everything is as it seems.
Clementine who is one of the main characters in the story turns 16 which makes her a sun down girl. Whilst spending a night with a man who she then goes onto kill makes her a murderer which then means that herself and the other girls have to go on the run!
