Firstly, what a beautifully stunning cover this book has ! I love the golden aspect and almost gold leaf amounts the gorgeous dark purple colours. It’s very striking and definitely an eye Catcher. I would be tempted from the cover alone.
I enjoyed this book, it’s diffrent from my usual Thriller reads but I am glad I was given the opportunity to read this.
I found the start of the book very gripping and emotional at times, right from the go we are thrown in to the world at the ‘Welcome House’ and their ‘ Lucky night’. When the 5 of them decide to make a run for it, I was so happy and rooting for them from the start !
I love how it’s highlighted several important and very real issues that are still happening to this very day.
It’s very empowering and raw, I highly recommend it to all .
