This story was seriously compelling, I read it in one sitting on holiday as I couldn’t put in down. Normally fantasy isn’t my first choice of genre but I really enjoyed this read as a result, like a more palatable YA friendly Handmaids Tale due to it being more fantastical however it is ultimately still the story of underage girls sold as sex slaves which is in itself troubling. I also liked the female main character majority and how the girls all handed together through out the story I think this was a really positive aspect of a somewhat troubling story. It was also a rare style choice to have it being a Western, which I usually wouldn’t reach for, but after Good Luck Girls I think this might be because other Westerns are all from the perspective of men!
