Upon seeing the front cover and reading the blurb the book sounded pretty good and I took the chance to read it to find out what exactly it was all about. The writing style is clear, really easy to read, and madd each chapter fairly straightforward and easy to understand.
The general storyline from the blurb was one of the things that did in fact catch my attention and drew me in to want to read the story in the first place.
However, I found that I wasn’t very much connected with the first few chapters of the book which overall made me put it down and not really want to even pick it up again.
I didn’t get much of a feel of the characters and their development inside of those few chapters that I had read. Due to not much really happening at first inside of the plot and the general story of the book.
