This had me feeling all sorts of girl.power I don't know what I expected but this definitely surpassed my expectations. I was really invested in the characters and their plight and loved the historical aspects to the story. The characters were very multi dimensional and believable. I have not really read any books of this genre before but the author was so creative and fresh with her ideas I really haven't witnessed a writing style like this before and it is so refreshing. I am eager to investigate and encounter what other books the author may have written. I read this very quickly over two evenings and it definitely peaked and held my interest and I was eager to continue reading as the book was honestly so hard to put down! I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something a little different thar will really touch you on an emotional level.
