The cover initially drew me into this book, as I’m a sucker for brightly coloured contemporary romances and the motorbike in the background screamed out to me. Then when I saw the authors name, I knew this book would be the next big craze on social media.
I was instantly hooked by the main character. A musician struggling to find the confidence she has lost, and attending therapy is not something I’ve read before. I love that the main character Anna has awareness of her mental health and is already seeking professional help when we meet her.
The introduction of the other main character also hooked me in, as his backstory sounds really interesting and heartbreaking. I’d be interested to know more about his friendship with Michael.
Overall, I sped through these first few chapters and I need more immediately! I can’t wait to read the rest of this book.
