I found the first few chapters interesting and enjoyable. However, I must say that I would never have chosen the book off the shelf as I found the cover totally unappealing and aimed at a totally different type of reader than myself! I became invested in the story of Anna and Quan but unfortunately the first chapters only set the scene and these their lives have not yet converged.
