There is a lot going on in this book. The Romance was was beautiful and thieir raw emotion and vulnerabilities were sad at times but the chemistry kept me reading from start to finish. I found their relationship to be somewhat rushed due to the other plot lines i just wish it felt like more of a slower build up.
There is a lot to this book from depression and anxiety which i found having a personal experience with it, it felt relatable and how they can just make you feel stuck. There was also ASD and the impact it can have on the caregiver as the MC is a caregiver and is shown going through a lot, it was refreshing to see this in a romance novel. That said i do think the majority of the focus was on this and i felt often times it featured more than the Romance. Some of the subject can be seen as heavy for someone looking for a quick light care free romance but if you like something with added depth i recommend it.
