I was a little unsure on my rating for this book for a long time, because, like most people, I went into this book thinking that it was strictly a romance. And while it is, romance is certainly not the best part of this book. This book focuses on hard hitting topics and treats them incredibly WELL. If not making you come out of the book with soaked pages and even wetter cheeks...

Seriously, I HAVEN'T stopped sobbing over this book. It's SO good, but 70% of it is pretty sad and deep and heart-breaking. And if that's your thing then hell yeah, go for it! You'll love it! If it's not, then this probably isn't the book for you.

I also adored the characters in this book. Quan of course, is my favourite (my weakness for tattooed men on motorcycles will forever be my undoing). But I think you also connect really well with Anna -- and Hoang really does a spectacular job at bringing these characters to life and making you sympathise for them.

Overall I thoroughly loved it.
