I thoroughly enjoy this book. I found the relationship between Anna and Quan to be engaging, but also realistic enough that it felt attainable as a reader. The two main characters both had journeys of their own throughout the novel that weren't dependant on the success of their relationship, but more that the relationship strengthened them and they were able to lift each other up and support the other in times of need.
Anna's journey with her autism diagnosis was something that I had never read before, especially for an older character. Most autistic characters I have encountered previously have been young boys and while there is nothing wrong with this I found that this new experience of reading Anna's story to be incredibly refreshing and more relatable for me personally.
Overall this book was excellent, the spilt between focus on the relationship and focus on other areas of the characters life was done very well and made this a very well rounded and enjoyable experience.
