Anna is stuck. She’s a violinist who has recently become famous after a video of her on Youtube went viral. The only problem is now she can’t play and keeps repeating patterns over and over again without getting anywhere. Then her long-term boyfriend decides he wants an open relationship. So Anna decides to embrace it and sleep with as many men as she wants.
She meets Quan on a dating site but their first date doesn’t exactly go to plan. And neither does the second or the third. What starts out as a quest to have as much sex as she likes ends in Anna finding someone she can finally be herself around.
I absolutely loved Anna and Quan and thought their relationship was just perfect. I really enjoyed the way they got to know each other and how they both respected each other and never pushed for more than the other was ready for.
Anna’s journey was wonderful to follow and you can tell it came from the author’s own experiences. I was so angry at her family and friends for not understanding her and gaslighting her into thinking there was someone wrong with her.
I devoured this book in a day and thoroughly enjoyed my time reading it.
