I knew I’d like this book from the get go and I loved it, it was such a lovely read! I found Anna extremely relatable and I really connected with both her and Quan and I was rooting for them the entire time. Romance wasn’t the main aspect of the story and whilst it was fairly lighthearted there were aspects that were very heavy and I’d recommend checking the TWs.
The novel portrays a woman being diagnosed with ASD later in life, showing her coming to terms with it and beginning to make sense of everything she’s been through previously and the way it’s written is spot on.
I read this book whilst I was on holiday in Kos and I loved it and I’m looking forward to reading more of Hoang’s work in the future (especially the 2 books from earlier on in the series which I’m yet to read) !!!
