An utterly addicting and magnificent story that doesn’t just give us an amazing romance plot, but also tackles some extremely important, deep topics, such as grief and toxicity.

The characters, particularly Anna, were well written, relatable and just extremely pleasant to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style, to make a character feel relatable is a hard task, and these characters were perfect. I enjoyed the first person point of view compared to her other works which are third person, it felt way more personal for a romance book.

Being a carer with low mental health myself, themes in this book really resonated with me, just as the book shows, you feel isolated and you struggle, and then you feel guilty for not coping and I really felt this from this book.

I have so much adoration from this read, it tackles tough themes so well and sheds light on topics that usually are ignored.
