There isn't really enough in the First Impression to get a true ides of where this story is going. The title gives us some clue and the money stashed in a root cellar by a dog breeder flag up that it is a crime story but so far it is a story about people.

The author certainly knows how to draw you in and a special mention must be made for the translator of this novel. The nuance does not seem to have been lost along the way, which so often happens.
