I love this book! It's definitely a complicated plot, especially at the start, so it took me a while to get my head around the characters and how they all fit together. That said, the author does a really good job of reminding us who's who exactly when I'm starting to get confused! I love that the story is told from the criminal's perspective as well as the police and other involved parties. I think that really adds another layer to the plot and creates a more 3-dimensional story.
I was also particularly impressed by how vividly the author portrays the emotions and physical feelings that everyone went through in the run-up to the heist. It felt like I was really feeling their feelings and made the whole thing feel so real. And not forgetting, of course, that the book is based on a true story. Incredible!
