The cover of the book and blurb drew me in as I love this kind of action adventure book. Particularly keen on heists and the run up to the operation itself. However, I found the plot really hard to follow. It was slow moving and there was not enough background to make the characters interesting. Sami was the only character I could identify with. I think this was because of the detail about his family circumstances giving more detail than with the other people as you felt how he was struggling to turn back to crime and I particularly liked the relationship with his wife and children which tore him both ways in his decision making. Although ultimately he followed his head not his heart. I couldn’t recommend this book.
