This book just didn’t thrill me. The cover was too ‘helicopter hero’ ‘male dominance’ for me. The blurb drew me in a bit as I love this kind of action adventure book. I decided to read it as I was keen to read more about heists and secret missions. However, I found the plot really hard to follow. The book took so long to read, I could hardly focus on the slow moving plot. I couldn’t bond with the characters as they seem so fake to me.
The only redeeming quality of the character in this book was that he ultimately he followed his head not his heart.
I really couldn’t recommend this book, as I’m a keen adventure reader- but this book just didn’t have the adventure I was seeking from a book.
