So I can tell by the cover of this book that it wouldn't usually be my sort of thing as it looks like a fantasy book and I do not read very much of this genre, so I wouldn't pick this up in a shop.
But on reading the synopsis, I'm surprised to find that it's actually a crime book, though a historical one (which again isn't usually my genre).
I am however intrigued by this one, so I would be interested in reading it and expanding my reading.
