The cover of this book, though beautiful, is not something that I would initially be drawn to.
I believe this book will be a love it or hate it type book. It seems a little slow due to the historical elements that wouldn't really capulate my interest.
The blurb sounds like a very interesting read but just not for me.
As I haven't read any of the other books by this author, I shall await further reviews from people who have read the whole book before I can decide if it is something I would purchase further down the line.
